Die Designerin hinter mija t. rosa ist Julia Crepp. Seit 2001 produziert sie ihre Kollektionen für Frauen. Ihre Mode spiegelt das Bild von selbstbestimmten, freien Frauen wider. Schauspielerinnen und ihre Charaktere inspirieren sie oft. Cepp spricht dabei selbst von “Mode für den Film des Lebens”.
Von Anfang an hat sie sich mit der Verarbeitung von ausgesonderten Textilien beschäftigt.In ihrer Arbeit benutzt sie fließende Stoffe und Recyclingtechniken. Einige Teile sind aus Überresten des Zuschnitts zusammengesetzt. Kleine Seiden- und Baumwollstücke werden zu einem Sommerkleid, ein Herrenhemd zu einem weiten Oberteil.

The designer behind mija t. rosa is Julia Cepp, who has been producing her women’s wear range since 2001. Her fashion pictures the images of women that stand for self-determination and freedom of action. Movie actresses as well as the characters they play are the most influential inspiration. She talkes about her work as “fashion for the movie of life”.
Cepp was involved in the Upcycling of discarded textiles from the beginning. In her work, the designer uses flowing fabrics while following recycling techniques. Her patchwork pieces are made out of the small fabric offcuts originated by the cutting process of bigger patterns. Little scraps of silk and cotton can combine into a summer dress, a man´s shirt into a wide t-shirt.
